Pokerstars signed with Gran Madrid

Post by Bookmaker »

Pokerstars plans to continue expanding its poker rooms in brick-and-mortar clubs. The company has reportedly added a poker room to the Gran Madrid club in Madrid, Spain. The live tournament is expected to take place at the beginning of the new year.

Prior to this partnership agreement, PokerStars had already entered into similar agreements with a number of clubs. PokerStars has signed partnership agreements with the historic Hippodrome Club in the heart of London's West End, Circus Group in Belgium and the Grand Du Hotel in Macau. PokerStars is now reportedly bidding on Atlantic City Club in New Jersey.

PokerStars is the leader in the Spanish market, accounting for about 70% of the regulated online poker market.

As a company that develops markets globally, PokerStars has sponsored live Texas Hold'em tournaments around the world. Having a permanent base for prestigious clubs in these big cities not only brings luxurious venues to these tournaments, but also promotes the brand to more potential customers.

Gran Madrid Club is located in Torrelodones, 18 km from the city centre. It is currently the largest club in Spain. However, the recent completion of the Vegas Europe project approved by Sheldon Adelson will replace Gran Madrid Club and take away the honor of the biggest club.
