World Cup - Barça winger doubles Garvey pass Spain win 7-0

At 00:00 Beijing time on November 24 (19:00 local time on the 23rd), the first round of Group E of the 2022 World Cup was contested, Spain beat Costa Rica 7-0, Ferran Torres doubled, Garvey and Olmer passed, Asensio, Soler and Morata scored.

Spain controlled the game after the opening. Pedri crosses the ball and Olmer's diagonal shot in front of the penalty area deflects off the post. Pedri then passed the ball and Asensio's shot deflected slightly off the right upright. Spain took the lead in the 11th minute when Garvey's direct pass was blocked and deflected, and Olmer stopped the ball and turned and pushed into the net in front of the penalty area.



In the 21st minute, Alba crossed from the left and Asensio volleyed into the back corner from 14 yards to make it 2-0. In the 31st minute, Duarte fouled Alba in the box and Ferran Torres hit a penalty to make it 3-0.


In the 54th minute, Garvey passed the ball and Ferran Torres broke through to the right edge of the penalty area to sweep the goal to make it 4-0. In the 74th minute, Morata crossed from the left and Garvey's volley from 15 yards hit the inside of the bottom right corner into the net, making it 5-0.



In the 90th minute, Keylor Navas saved the cross and Soler pushed it into the net in front of the penalty area, making it 6-0. In the 92nd minute, Morata combined with Olmer's kick into the bottom left corner from the edge of the penalty area to make it 7-0.
