The PokerStars Zoom Poker Challenge debuted at PCA 2013

Post by Bookmaker »

Since PokerStars launched Zoom Poker in May last year, the Texas Hold'em game has taken the Texas Hold'em world by storm. In this game, you can instantly discard your hand and move to a new table to face a new opponent. This Texas Hold'em game is fast and exciting. Now, it's on the schedule of PokerStars' 10th Caribbean Adventure for the first time.

In 2013, PCA held its first Fast Poker Challenge with a 50K margin. The concept of the contest is simple, with Texas players paying $1,025 each to get 20,000 starting chips. Then the vicissitudes of change began. The player's goal is to grab 20K chips from other people, accumulating as many as possible in just 12 minutes. A contestant eliminated? It doesn't matter, the tournament uses an auto-fill chip feature, so everyone will have at least 20,000 chips.

The tournament takes place in the PCA Player Lounge every day at noon until January 12. Participating Texas Hold'em players can earn points on the leaderboard. On the last day of the challenge, the top player becomes the final champion. They get the lion's share of the 50K deposit, and other players with the highest points are rewarded.

The competition has already generated lively discussions. It seems that it is only a matter of time before some Texas Hold'em celebrities try their hand at this challenge. PokerStars already offers iPads, user IDs, and wonderful lounges. All interested Texans have to do is show up.
