According to Seth Palansky, head of public relations at WSOP tournaments, the seventh World Poker Championship Europe (WSOPE) will be held from 10.11 to 24 October 2013 at Barrière Enghien-les-Bains, the oldest casino in France. The Barrière Enghien-les-Bains casino on the shores of the lake is just 10 km from the French capital. There is a TV theater for 500 people to broadcast the final table. WSOP officials say that this will be the most comfortable and beneficial setting for poker players in the 7-year history of WSOPE.

Ty Stewart, Executive Director of WSOP, said: "Part of WSOPE's vision is to introduce the fun of hybrid poker to the most exciting European poker players. The facilities at Barrière are exciting. We want to set dates in advance to make it easier for travel players and expand TV coverage and eligibility opportunities. We look forward to the birth of a new record in 2013.

No final event schedule has been confirmed at the moment, but it can be expected that at least 7 gold bracelet events will be officially held. as well as high-stakes tournaments and several satellite events. Of course, €10,000 for the main event. WSOP posters can now be seen not only in the lobby of Barrière, but also in major hotels in Paris.

The first two WSOPE events were held in Cannes, France, and earlier in London from 2007 to 2010. Barrière offers 75 tables, enough to accommodate a full range of poker events. At the same time, WSOP officials are also discussing whether to add related events. But at present, the main focus of WSOP is to increase the number of players and the amount of prize pools. With this migration, WSOPE will take it a step further.
